celebrates success of third edition |

CHALOMUMBAI.COM, MID-DAY's online version,
celebrated the success of the third edition of MID-DAY
Good Food Guide with a 'Borosil Good Food Tasting Evening'
at Crossword, yesterday.
Hosted by popular foodie Rashmi Uday Singh, Crossword
resembled a food lover's heaven. It was German hazelnut
dream from Desserts R Us, pani puri and mutton tikka from
Poonjiaji's and pancake terrine, red pepper sponge and
avocado mousse from CCS, channa kababs and spaghetti cheese
balls from Burp!!! Snacks, khaman dhoklas from Jyoti Mehta,
mini-veg burgers from HAS, brownies and chocolates from
Sweet Nothings mocha meringue and moist banana cake from
Cakeline, and of course. Fortune cookies that revealed
some pretty interesting fortunes.
What got everyone really excited however was the on-the-spot
contest where the guest had to answer some very simple
questions Winners took away some really cool goodies from
Borosil's latest range of ovenware, Kitchen Craft goodies
Weikfeild International gift hamper as well as copies
of the MID-DAY Good Food Guide.
There were also prizes for winners of the online Borosil
Game on chalomumbai.com contest. The prizes were given
away by Borosil's Managing Director P K Kheruka and Rashmi.
And judging by the beaming crumb-lined faces, we'd say
every one had a really great time. Those who think they
