The hows and whys of shrimp mousse on sugarcane
sticks, stir-fry veg krawpaw sauce, lemon cheesecake with
blueberry compote and the rest of the exotic fare served
with all the frills at The Oberoi's India Jones can now
be learnt.
Rashmi Uday Singh's Good Food Academy along with The Oberoi
will be conducting a two week interactive cook-in session
- A Journey through the orient - at India Jones from July
26.
At its launch yesterday by Thailand's consul-general Apichart
Varnayana (
why him? Because there is a special
session on That cooking) along with model Namrata Baruwa
took us on a round of the India Jones kitchen and revealed
what culinary secrets will be shared.
These cooking sessions are open to all and includes lunch
followed by the cooking class.
As we tucked into the delicacies which will be taught
at the academy, we spotted a India Jones regular Reema
Raj Kapoor who had several society ladie 'who do lunch'
call upon her and that included Kavita Vinod Khanna.
